Ezechi Britton MBE (Ez) is a prominent figure in the UK’s fintech sector, with a career spanning over 15 years. He began as a software developer, advancing to co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) roles before moving into venture capital. Ez co-founded Neyber, a fintech firm focused on financial well-being, where he served as the founding CTO. He also co-founded Code Untapped, a digital skills accelerator aimed at providing opportunities for underrepresented technologists. As a founding member, principal, and CTO-in-residence at Impact X Capital Partners LLP, Ez has supported underrepresented entrepreneurs in securing venture capital funding. In 2023, he was appointed the founding CEO of the Centre for Finance, Innovation, and Technology (CFIT), an organization established to drive financial innovation in the UK. In January 2025, Ez announced his departure from CFIT after two years at the helm. His contributions to diversity and innovation in technology were recognized in 2022 when he was awarded an MBE.
